Speculations has surfaced about the arrival of Miles' jet-setter friends Sophie and Megan. The two are believed to be entering the country any day now but it is not known exactly when. Insiders believe that it could be as soon as Monday. Photographers have been camping out at both Sydney and Melbourne International Airports ready for when the traveling twosome land on Australian soil. The two girls will be present at a wedding Miles will be attending. As you may know, two members of Miles' entourage, Ella and Dane, will be marrying on Australia Day.

Miles Misses Birthday?

Last night Miles' dear friend Anna celebrated her birthday in North Hobart with a number of friends. Miles was notably absent from the festivities. There was speculation that Miles had a riff with one of the party people. A spokesperson for Miles today said, "Not true. Miles has no enemies and was taking time out of the spotlight to rest and recover at home with his father."

It was probably best as Miles has not stopped since his three birthday parties back in November. After his Tasmanian Tour Miles has celebrated Christmas with loved ones, attended the Falls Festival on NYE, gone back to St. Helens and North-West Coast and now he is preparing for another trip back to St. Helens and then his assistants/parents will be getting married on January 26th. In addition to this Miles will be reunited with good friends Megan and Sophie when they arrive back in the country in the coming days.

Anna's official 25th birthday is on Monday. We wish you a very happy birthday Anna!

As Miles had Tour commitments at the East Coast he missed the celebrations of his friend Megan and her birthday party. Before the King of Cute departed Hobart he visited Megan early in the morning at her place for a champagne breakfast complete with fruit platter and party goods. Megan is reportedly thrilled with Miles' kind and thoughtful gesture. What a gentleman.

Miles' parents touched down in Launceston this morning before jumping into a waiting car and speeding off towards St. Helens. The couple were surrounded by decoy cars to shake off eager Miles Fans hoping to sneak a peek at Baby Miles. The Chisholms are expected to be spending Christmas morning in St. Helens before heading off to the North West Coast to visit paternal relatives. While he has been eager to see his parents again, Miles is believed to be ecstatic to be catching up with his grandparents on the North West. Insiders say that Miles will then be heading south to his Hobart residence to pack and prepare for a blow-out New Years Eve at the "Falls Festival"

The Falls Festival is a New Year's Eve music festival, held annually in Marion Bay, Tasmania and Lorne, Victoria Australia since 1993. It lasts three days, from December 29 to January 1 each year. The headline acts play mostly over two evenings, December 30 and December 31. Both festivals run simultaneously and swapping line-ups over different days.

Rumour has it that bébé Miles is currently learning the language of love; French. While this hasn't been confirmed from Miles' official spokesperson, insiders say that Miles is eager to move onto another language in addition to expanding his English vocabulary.

Miles' love for languages comes as no surprise to those who know him. One eye witness says that when being tucked into bed at night Miles has said, "Te iu besc" to his father - this being "I love you" in Romanian. On another occasion the King of Cute has been quoted saying, "나는 배고프다" which in Korean is, "I'm hungry"

Upon hearing the possible news that Miles is studying French, Dan Cooke, Director of Operations at the Lycée Français de New York said that he would be "very excited" should Miles choose to study at his school.

Miles' close friend Anna Heyward is officially graduating today from the University of Tasmania with a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Fine Arts.

Miles is said to have been thrilled with the news that Anna aced all her units and that she will join his mother, father and close friends in graduating from the university.

Anna majored in both Journalism, Media & Communications and Art & Cultural Theory.

A 'sandstone university', UTAS it is the fourth-oldest university in Australia, and was established over a century ago. It was founded on 1 January 1890, and is a member of the international Association of Commonwealth Universities.

The Bachelor of Fine Arts that Anna undertook is designed to give students a broad visual arts education and to offer them a wide range of possible disciplines in which to undertake a major program of study. The course requires a commitment to studio-based study supported by a substantial program in art and design theory. During her studies Anna partook in rigorous and challenging ongoing theoretical debate.

The Australian Bureau of Meteorology have reported "awesome swells" on Tasmania's East Coast this weekend. Both Miles' father Dane and his maternal grandfather Frank are avid surfers and so it comes as no surprise that Miles loves the waves and has spent most of his time at the beach while residing at the East Coast this summer. Not long ago Miles appeared in a CNN special on Eco-friendly Surfboards - a combination of his two great passions; surfing and the environment.

In the CNN special Miles was quoted saying, "Surfing has this wonderful green imagery but the reality is that the surfboard is a lump of horrible petrochemical plastic and will sit in landfill sites and have a negative environmental footprint. We need to change this."

Late yesterday Miles sent a telegram from his East Coast residence to his close friend Brad in Hobart. It is believed that Miles congratulated Brad and wished him all the best in his new position as a professional driver.

Metro Tasmania is the primary provider of public transport in the Australian state of Tasmania. It operates only buses, as there are no longer any public transport trains, trams or trolley buses operating in Tasmania, and the few passenger ferries in Hobart are small independent operations.

As such it is by far the largest transport network in the state, and has it's three major operations in the largest population centres of Hobart, Launceston, and the North-West.

Metro Tasmania's history goes back over 100 years. It's precursor, The Hobart Electric Tram Company began operation in 1893, one of the earliest such operators in the world. The Hobart City Council purchased the company in 1913 and operated as Hobart Municipal Tramways.

Despite the buzz on the net claiming that Miles was in Vegas recently at a boxing match, Miles' rep can confirm that this is "not so."

In a statement made Wednesday morning Miles' spokesperson said, "Miles was not in Vegas over the weekend, the King of Cute is currently resting in Tasmania for some well earned R&R."

The chaos started when it was said that Miles was in Vegas to watch Ricky Hatton get knocked out in the 10th by Floyd Mayweather Saturday night at the MGM Grand. It is believed that Miles' assistants/parents are due to take off for a getaway trip to South East Asia later this week. Miles is believed to be staying at Tasmania's East Coast during this time.

It is understood that while Miles will miss his parents, he is also excited to spend some time totally relaxing and getting to know his maternal grandparents one-on-one. Miles' maternal grandmother Vicki is very similar to his mother Ella. In previous interviews with Vanity Fair and British magazine Dazed & Confused, Miles has referred to his mother and grandmother as Semtext Girls.

Freshly mulched shrubbery and lawn clippings have been layered on the garden bed. The first strawberry has appeared and the newly planted tomatoes have taken to the garden very well. As you can see the corn is getting thicker at the base and the chives are sprouting new stems. The developments are very exciting.

recent & frequent communication leaks.

Hot off the heals of the Wall Street Journal's online publication of Miles' movements tonight, Scottish national newspaper The Scotsman has published pictures of the location of tonight's Birthmonth Blowout Celebrations. Published in Edinburgh, The Scotsman is believed to run with these pictures on their front cover tomorrow morning. The time is currently 11.56pm in Edinburgh.

The pictures clearly show a very neat and freshly mowed lawn and pruned shrubbery. The location's address has not been published for fear of mass mobbing and gate crashers.

Although the official source of the pictures are currently unknown, Miles' close Scottish friend "Andy" is believed to have been sent to Australia on behalf of the Scottish public to wire news back to his mother country to satisfy the public's unrelenting hunger for Miles news.

As Miles' Birthmonth Celebrations draw to an end for 2007 it is believed that Miles is preparing for one final Birthmonth Blowout by celebrating the birthday of a close friend tonight.

A few minutes ago The Wall Street Journal online were the first news agency to report that Miles will be attending a party tonight for a friend. A leaked text message between Miles and his close friend will no doubt make the front page of the WSJ when the US wakes up in under 5 hours.

First it was announced that after seeing Miles' blog, the Football Star wanted his own too. Now in his latest blog entry Beck's lets it slip that he will be meeting up with his good friend Miles Chisholm while in Australia. David's blog entry is below...

“Hello from Australia,

I’m really happy to have finally made it over - the people have been amazing and I’ve been made to feel really welcome. I’ve always wanted to visit my mate's (Miles) home country Australia as well as visit New Zealand, which I’m off to on Thursday, so it’s a great feeling to be here. My mate Miles has been going on an on about how great his country is and I have to say, I love it!

I’m writing this to you the day after our game against Sydney FC. It was disappointing to lose the match even though it was a friendly, as I always want to win, but I was pleased to play the full game and of course, score a goal. I practice free kicks enough, so it’s always a great feeling when they go in.

The atmosphere in the Telstra Stadium was amazing and it was a really entertaining match for the 80,000 fans. Miles gave me a really encouraging speech just before I went out and that really kept me going. We really enjoyed playing, despite the result, and now look forward to the game against Wellington Phoenix on Saturday.

I was a bit worried when I went over on my ankle. I thought it might be the same injury I’d had for Real Madrid on the last day of the season, but I managed to play on and finish the game ok, so thankfully it wasn’t that bad.

This Thursday is also the 2nd anniversary of The David Beckham Academy in the UK. I went along to the Academy last week, and you’ll be able to see my video footage of the day on davidbeckham.com later this week. But as I’m in Australia at the moment I can’t be there on Thursday, so I would just like to say thanks to all the coaches and staff for their hard work over the past two years and also a big thank you to all the children that have visited and enjoyed the Academy.

On Friday night Anna and Andrew threw a house warming party for close friends. Anna and Andrew recently moved to Taroona – notably close to Miles’ Southern residence.

Guests at the party included Zoe and Andy, Megan and Cam, James and Brad, Ella and Dane… however the life of the party was Miles Chisholm.

Miles is said to be very pleased with the three bedroom house. He made a special note of checking the outdoor area by pushing his toy car around to make sure that it ran smoothly on the surface. Miles and other guests gave a glowing review of the new pad.

Miles was very jolly and yet at times content to catch up on some light reading.

Miles decided to leave with his father once the nibbles dried up. It is rumored that the well-known social butterfly had another party to attend.

Earlier today Baby Miles celebrated his first birthday with close friends and family in Tasmania’s capital. Despite a forecast of rain, Mother Nature held off any unpleasantness for the very special event.

Miles was in fantastic spirits today and proudly showing off his walking abilities to his admiring audience. A bright green birthday cake was presented to the Birthday Bub in addition to an array of delicious Veggie Burgers, pineapple juice, champagne, hommus and Betty’s famous short-bread biscuits that were FedEx’ed to Hobart just in time for the festivities.

Although Miles official birthday isn’t until November 5, the celebration today was the first in an amazing line up of partying that will be taking place for Miles’ big, big day. Tomorrow Miles will be heading to the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens for fun, laughter and good times with his baby friends from Mother’s Club. Then, believe it or not, the one-year-old will be on his way to Launceston’s famous Cataract Gorge to live it up with both his East and West Coast families.

Miles' Veggie Garden: Update

Miles’ Veggie Garden is coming along fantastically! There have been a few developments. Today tomatoes were purchased and will soon be the newest edition to Baby M’s Garden. The overload of rain in Hobart has meant that some of the soil in the garden has trenched. Experiments are currently underway in relation to plastic bottles.

Excessive pruning was done around the property and the mulcher was given a work out. The mulched material was placed only in the corn section of the veggie garden. Currently the biggest, brightest and fastest growers are: coriander, rocket, garlic and parsley.

All parts of the plant coriander are edible, but the fresh leaves and the dried seeds are the most commonly used in cooking. Coriander is commonly used in Middle Eastern, Mediterranean, Indian, South Asian, Latin American, Chinese, African and Southeast Asian cuisine.

Miles is excited about the rocket "rocketing off" when he commented on it saying, “...it's rich in Vitamin C and Iron”

Garlic is widely used around the world for its pungent flavor, as a seasoning or condiment. Depending on the form of cooking, the flavor is either mellow or intense.

As Miles’ interest in these vegetables and plants will most likely cause hysteria at Greengrocers the world over, we must advise that parsley should not be consumed by pregnant women.

Animal, vegetable or mineral? Artist Dane Chisholm blends all three to create his hybrid creatures...

Getting to Dane Chisholm’s Tasmanian home/studio involves a vertical climb from rocky seashore to tree-capped peak. It’s an exhausting hike that would test even the fittest art lover. The reward is a panoramic view that takes in the Derwent River, rolling hills and the very tip tops of the surrounding gum trees. It’s the perfect setting in which to see Chisholm’s work, gloriously detailed prints of exotic, unknown animals wandering strange lands. The prints look at once old and new, like visions of the future and a record of the past. Are they documenting the extinct or designing what will be?

As Chisholm’s work confuses the idea of past and present, so too does his technique. Chisholm uses traditional and modern methods to make his work, starting with traditional, handmade prints and then using a computer to manipulate and layer his images. Using this approach he is able to create rich and complex worlds where the creatures he creates inhabit custom-made environments.

Despite their vivid colours and delicate details there is something very sinister about Chisholm’s work. There is something very wrong with his pretty animals. In fact Chisholm has created freaks, whale/bird/kangaroo creatures, fusions of dinosaurs and elephants and a deer with a bird’s head, or is it a bird with a deer’s body? Then again, maybe it’s a tree with limbs like a bird’s head and a deer’s body. “I look at a lot of scientific illustrations of animals and plants,” he explains. Chisholm uses these illustrations to play mix and match, creating a forest full of animal Frankenstein’s. “There is definitely a brightness and a darkness to these images,” he says, “I’m commenting on the contemporary environment and also the tamperings of science; things like DNA research and testing drugs on animals. I’m just taking that inspiration and putting my own spin on things.”

Chisholm feels for these one-of-a-kind creatures. They are destined for a lonely life, wandering a cold and indifferent world. “I think there’s a bit of isolation in my work,” he says, looking sympathetically at a fish/flower with dinosaur/emu legs. “That creature is by itself and it’s looking a bit lost and unsure of itself.” The sense of isolation in Chisholm’s work is also a reference to Tasmania’s geographical isolation, something that he is actually very appreciative of. “Tasmania is a pretty special place. People might think isolation is a bad thing, but I think it’s a good thing,” he explains. “Down here everything’s a bit backwards; but at the rate the world’s roller coasting ahead it’s scary and that comes out in my work.”

Reports have come forward that Miles has been given his very own garden. Close friends have created the Miles Chisholm Garden in celebration of the King of Cute. The weekend-long creation was a project of love and many hours of planning, research and drinking went into the Garden's creation.

Miles, known to be an avid lover of vegetables, is said to be thrilled with the garden. He has suggested tomatoes and strawberries be planted as he loves the taste of them. Also noted was Miles enthusiasm towards companion planting. When speaking with Brad and James it is rumored that Miles became quite excited and vocal about the benefits of companion planting.

Companion planting in gardening and agriculture is planting of different crops in close physical proximity, on the theory that they will help each other. It is a form of polyculture.

Companion planting is used by farmers, and gardeners in both the industrialised world and the third world. For farmers, techniques are already being used in Integrated Pest Management, and systems can be set up to allow the farmer to have more yield and/or reduce pesticides. In the third world, tropical crops are used instead of temperate ones and provide NGO's, and other organizations a tool for allowing the poor to get out of poverty.

For gardeners, the combinations of plants also make for a more varied, attractive vegetable garden. It can also be used to mitigate the decline of biodiversity. Many of the modern principles of companion planting were present many centuries ago in the cottage garden.

Yesterday Miles hosted another barbecue in his new Hobart home. This week there was another large turn out with guests spilling out onto the deck. Miles' veggie patties were big hit with guests and although there was talk of screening it, Miles' film, "Miles' Day in the Park" unfortunately wasn't presented.

Miles' close friends Anna & Andrew weren't present last night as Anna has been recovering from respiratory complications during the last week. Halfway through the night Miles collected the attention of the party-goers and made a special announcement in aid of his close friend Anna and wished her all the best with her recovery.

During the night Miles took a bath and later changed into a blue outfit that surprised and delighted guests. If you look carefully you can see that Miles is wearing an outfit given to him from his dear friend Georgie in the UK.

One particularly memorable incident throughout the night was when all the party guests came together and gave three roaring cheers to Miles in recognition of his recent Kmart catalogue photoshoot. The Kmart catalogue featuring Miles will be out nationwide next month.

Czech Republic newspaper Czech Happenings has reported that Brad and Angelina's 2-year-old daughter Zahara [pictured] received a very special letter on Wednesday afternoon at the American Embassy compound in Prague, Czech Republic. Did Miles Chisholm have a run-in with the authorities? No, of course not! Reports from MTV Asia have come through that People magazine's 'cutest baby' caught The Police in concert on Wednesday night at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. As per usual, once Miles spotted the paparazzi, he covered his face with his scarf. Miles' mother/assistant Ella Prins, was no where to be seen during the concert but it is believed that Miles' grandfather Frank Prins was present given his love of the british band.

The Police are a three-piece rock band consisting of singer/bassist Sting, guitarist Andy Summers, and drummer Stewart Copeland. They reunited to perform at the Grammy Awards this year and will be playing at the Live Earth concert in July 2007.

Miles could very well be appearing on CNN's Larry King Live in the near future. Sources say that while Miles is yet unable to speak fluent English, Larry's 'people' have been adamant in trying to book Miles in to sit in the hot seat with Larry.

This isn't the first time that someone from CNN has tried to lure Miles onto the US network. Reports are now coming through that earlier this year Emmy Award winning American journalist, author, and television personality Anderson Cooper called Miles' representatives for an interview on his hit news show Anderson Cooper 360°.

On when he’s most talkative: “I don’t know how I do it, but … I talk a lot in the bath. It’s easier to talk when you’re naked … You may have heard I recently said “Mum” when I was in the bath”

On his growing relationship with his parents: “I think we all went on a lot of faith – we really did. Our family has grown very quickly, and we have a lot of responsibility together. We acknowledge that we are lucky we all turned out to be for each other - it's everything we’d hoped. We could have been very wrong, but every challenge we hit has brought us closer. It has been that kind of relationship.”

On good dad Dane: “It’s great. There’s no better feeling than a man who is a great father.”

On his grueling crawling-training sessions: “I’m still having trouble convincing Mum that I am also a relaxed baby. I will be the first to admit that I did take to the crawling-training and other challenges with every conceivable ounce of energy I have. I don’t believe in wasting time but having said that I do know how important it is to relax… [Laughs] even if it is less than the average baby.”

On moving to other sources of food: “Don’t get me wrong, breast milk is great and all, but it is nice to extend my palate to other foods. I wasn’t keen on pumpkin at first but now I can’t get enough. [Laughs] Maybe it was a taste overload or something.”

Miles' Winter Escape

Reports have been running rampant that Miles and his entourage have escaped the Tasmanian winter blues for sunny Brisbane and Byron Bay. It is believed that Miles and his assistants left on Monday complete with surfboard. International newsagents and news informants were speculating that Miles was leaving for a mysterious vacation on Tuesday. Miles most likely found out about this and avoided the paparazzi by leaving 24 hours earlier.

Miles has aunts from both the paternal and maternal side of his family that live in Brisbane and Byron Bay.

Miles’ maternal grandmother is believed to be catching up with the 'lil Cutie Pie in Byron at the end of his holiday before she heads off overseas.

It is not yet known if the Byron Bay tourism industry have lured Miles to their town in a bid to attract more tourism given Miles’ superstar celebrity status. Our calls to the Byron Bay board of tourism were not returned.

Reports that Miles will be performing in the West End have surfaced over the weekend. Images (including this one seen above) were leaked to the press on Friday and ever since there has been pure pandemonium and speculation of Miles' debut to the stage. Where better place for Miles to start than the West End?

West End theatre is a popular term for mainstream professional theatre in London, or sometimes more specifically for shows staged in the large theatres of London's "Theatreland". Along with New York's Broadway theatre, West End theatre is usually considered to represent the highest level of commercial theatre in the English speaking world. Seeing a West End show is a common tourist activity in London.

Despite Miles' linguistic skills stretching as far as the word, "Mum" he has been known to be motivated by struggles and in the past has always risen to the challenge.

It is believed that US Company "Baby Toupee" have recently penned an exclusive deal with Miles while he is on his next tour.

Miles and his representatives have always maintained that his hair is natural they say that their deal with Baby Toupee is strictly for professional purposes and not intend to deceive the public by passing off the baby toupee as natural hair. They have said that the last thing they want is to be associated with the mistakes made by Miles' troubled close friend Ms Spears, as seen here.
